About Rosie Thompson & Newstart Team

Rosie Thompson is a seasoned legal researcher in immigration law, practicing in Australia, the Philippines, and the United States. She began her career in the early 2000s and was one of the first in her field to introduce remote work during a time when fax machines were still standard for communication. Rosie holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Philippine Law School and a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and Practice from the University of Technology Sydney. Additionally, she has completed various courses in immigration and paralegal studies at the University of Minnesota College of Continuing and Professional Studies.

Rosie has accumulated decades of experience as an immigration paralegal with international law firms across Australia, the United States, and the Philippines. In Australia, she worked alongside one of the pioneering Filipino immigration solicitors in New South Wales. In 2014, Rosie became a permanent resident of the United States and founded Newstart Consultancy LLC in 2015.

Newstart Consultancy LLC offers non-legal immigration services, specializing in USCIS form preparation and package compilation. The firm is comprised of 12 remote legal researchers with specialized knowledge in STEM fields, education, and entrepreneurship from the USA, Australia, and the Philippines. They strive to make immigration services accessible and affordable, staying current with evolving USCIS policies and procedures through continuous education.
